C A M I S A D OHaven't You Heard That I'm The New Cancer? Never Looked Better And You Can't Stand It.
The large pit bull brute walked silently through the foliage. A light breeze fluttered through the trees and a few magpies sang their soft songs. A couple of grasshoppers made some chirps to one another and the branches of the trees crashed against each other making a nice noise, in an odd way. None of the birds really flew, but a few of them hopped from branch to branch.
Many of the dogs that came through seemed so very out of place, and so did he. No, it was not some weird looking thing, it just didn't seem as natural as a wolf or wild hound moving through the wonderful terrain. His brown and white coat stood out against the green, mainly because it was the middle of the day and the sun was high above, yet it seemed that that time of day was when the Valley was the most gorgeous.
The pit bull mix's ears flapped forward a bit and his tail wagged softly behind him. His paws moved forward in a regular fashion, nothing too fancy, yet nothing bad. Shaking his coat once, the dog looked around himself. He really didn't know what to do now, sure it was beautiful, but without company, somethings just weren't as great. Yes, the first few times he preferred to be alone, but now... he longed for someone to talk to...
Sitting down in the grass and watching a few chipmunk scatter around, the dog averted his blue gaze toward the top of the trees. Still, the magpies did not fly, but instead they scram at him.
'You do not belong here'
Their cries said, but his own shrug and gaze stated that yes he did belong, he was just trapped in the wrong body. The birds hushed, only to continue their cries toward each other and continue moving in search of grubs on the branches. He did belong in his own way, if only he were a wolf or a canine that did belong here...

[ ♥ ]
A Tri-colored Border Collie female padded down a worn down trail. Her long haired; fluffy tail curled over her back... taking on a Heart Shape at her Tail's Tip. Her name was Gypsy.. and she was well known around here; the name fit quite well. Yes... She was a house pet.. But spent her nights outside and wandering around.. only coming home once a day for A Snack and a friendly pet from her young owner. On the weekends; when there were dog sled races in town; she was almost always pulling a small red flyer wagon; turned into a small sled with her 5 year old human inside; trying to lead her. Gypsy didn't mind; plus.. once she got there... she could see Damian. But dear Gypsy had been fed up with Damian's immaturity... and separation anxiety.. so she left him. It's as simple as that... there were more fish in the sea. Today was one of those days where she was alone; she wasn't in town singing in the square; and she wasn't pulling a small sled; and she didn't have peppy little dogs trailing around after her; eager for the attention Gypsy got... but didn't enjoy.
Sure she was beautiful.. but was it such a big deal? There were plenty of beautiful dogs.. so why did everyone seem interested in her. It just was.. odd. Gypsy didn't enjoy any of the attention she got. Any male that came up to her in a crowd was obviously only interested in her looks... and she had learned that with Damian. It was the shy males hiding off in the corners; trying to look away that Gypsy noticed; and couldn't help but giggle at... She loved Shy males; but only ones who were shy when they first met... and soon warmed up.
Gypsy had been looking at her paws thinking nearly the whole time; then as she looked up; the border Collie Mix almost collided into a well muscled male.. she was sure he was a pit bull.. or something quite similar. Gypsy took a step back; blushing at her clumsiness. Her ears swivelled back and she raised a single paw.
" I'm Sorry.. I-I- Wasn't paying attention... "
